I really like the Df follower idea; it’s proven a huge help in levelling my alts later in the game. I hope it’s kept in from day 1 as, being a tank player, it’s a useful training tool.

I think the Saga is the end. Microsoft is moving forward with WoW 2. That is why they are doing the three at the same time. WoW 2 is the goal.

Then alienate their current players that would hate restarting the story after losing their accounts? Unless they do it like FF XIV A Realm Reborn, then I don't think WoW 2 is a good idea.

What gets me is that they say "Okay, we talked and we came up with an idea about how this new expansion, we're going to an underground area that we've not seen before and we're going to fight these guys, some of whom we've either seen some of or they're older concepts in history." And the screaming, gnashing of teeth and rending of garments starts. The forums blow up with "Stupid idea, we've been underground a lot, we had Shadowlands, we've had this cave in DF and nothing's new with that. I don't like it and I'm quitting." Rage quit before even seeing what's being offered and trying it. I saw the same with Plunderstorm, "OMG, it's pirates, I told you it was going to be pirates and what a stupid concept. We've had Pirate Day for years, nothing new." Gripe, gripe, complain. I am not a fan of Plunderstorm to play, I can't get the hang of it and I hate dying like nobody else. But I LOVED watching the tournament this weekend. This is great content for those who like PvP and who like the Battle Royale type of game play. It's fantastic for other people and I"m glad Blizz took a chance on it. I would love to see something PvE and I hear it's going to happen. And that's, honestly, what I see as a mature attitude, it's not your thing but you have other things to play, and if it's not WoW or their other games, I hear there are a lot of other games out there to play and more being made. Find one and have fun. Stop haunting the forums on Blizz and continuing to gripe when you aren't playing. Sorry, pet peeve, I liked your video and it's stuff that really needs to be discussed.

You think plunderstorm is working? Most people un the waiting room would disagree with you. We are just grinding the rep fir the rewards then we are done with it. The only way to know if it "works" is counting how many players continue with it after they max the rep.

To all the people complaining that plunderstorm is attached to retail. This was a retail patch using retail assets and it's a minor patch at that. It would be like retail players complaining that classic players got revamped lower level dungeons in season of discovery and that it should of been game wide.

People complain because it was advertised as 10.2.6 content patch...and it wasn't. It's a separate game mode, just using some wow assets.

The lack of much information at this point has me setting expectations extremely low for The War Within. It also seems like the only expansion features are delves and warbands, and warbands are more of a general thing. Hero talents are nothing interesting.. just more talents and another missed opportunity to do something cool. There’s the story of course, but we have no way to judge what that may be like yet.

Why do you need information before it comes out? We know what the things are they're starting (warbands and delves) and the talents. We don't need to know all the details, there's something fun about opening that first time and not having all the information on playing, it's exploration, it's experiencing the story and the areas and such. If you're worried about the point you may not like it, don't buy the epic, spend the least you can or go play with a friend. You can see a lot on YT before the game is too far in, the content creators will be streaming and putting up videos so you can see it before you buy, if that's what you need. But Blizz is doing a good thing by keeping it down and letting us experience it firsthand, IMO, YMMD.

Glad to hear you're feeling better. Nice to see you optimistic about Blizzard. (You do tend to get triggered and spiral down from time to time.) Like we need to put you in a snickers commercial or something.) Change takes time. Video games take time. Blizzard is headed in a better direction with good things happening. Dragon Flight was a good start. I'm excited to see others excited and we all are happy to see you along the way, keeping us caught up. As always have a great day all. :)

I agree. We've been burned a few times. I don't blame people for staying away, hell, even I am. I'm definitely returning for TWW. I like a lot of changes from DF. Seems like a game I can have fun with again that respects my time. I trust blizzard to continue that. The story seems to be going in a good direction. Let's hope metzen cooks a good one up for us.
