WOW This one got us! SEPTICFLESH - Neuromancer - Old Guy Reaction

Septic Flesh in Neuromancer. Does anyone know how this band got its name? There must be a back story. It is the evilest name I have ever heard in a metal band. Every metal band tries to come up with a crazy evil-sounding name but this one takes the cake for us. Let's talk about the music....man, it is so good. It has a full sound that really blows your mind. We absolutely loved it. We did agree that the adrenalin rush would make us tired and we were not sure if we could listen to a whole album straight through. The music literally does something to my body or mind that wears me out. But I love it...it is the weirdest thing.

I recommend watching their full concert with a symphony orchestra in Mexico. I think you will have a lot of amazing experiences. The concert is called Infernus Sinfonica. And Spiros Antoniou is also an artist and draws covers for the band's albums and more. He has a website with his works. Of course, his work is not for everyone, but I adore it.

Funny you mention about listening to this so you don't fall asleep. Was on the way back from Dallas, it was freezing and all the roads had frozen I had a 4-hour drive, and I was tired..... It was a recipe for disaster.... But septic flesh helped me make it through the whole way home lol So yes that absolutely does work, at first I was listening to a Jordan Peterson interview and it put me to sleep, so I put on septic flesh... And it was like coffee for my brain

Thanks for the reaction. Septicflesh is my favorite band and I enjoy watching other people experience hearing them. If you're interested in more symphonic death metal, check out Genus Ordinis Dei. Their song "Edict" is great.

Christos Antoniou - brother of vocalist Spyros Antoniou has a higher education in composition from the conservatory. That is, he understands and writes music at the highest level. He created symphonic arrangements for the band's music.
