East Indian mangoes are my favorite so I definitely need to get some Giselle mangoes this year.

I first tasted this cultivar at ZHPP nursery back in 2019 and I liked it very much. I insisted Gary to propagate this variety as I told him that there is a "wow" factor in it but he wasn't interested. Then I collected the bud wood from Alex in 2019 when we tried the variety together at his farm and talked highly about it. I grafted one of the limb of a mature rootstock. Hopefully, it will bloom in 2022. Thanks Alex for letting me have the budwood from a small Giselle tree back in 2019.

If you like West-Indian type mangoes, you will really enjoy this one. It's sweet, spicy and resinous.
