Nearly doubled the range. Simple 10s4p battery. Nothing fancy.

Actually I can make around 10 additional miles on AT wheels. I think this is due to bad cells i the external battery. Just need to replace them before summer and I should do same range as on original battery. It is 10s4p, so it's the same as wowgos. Battery was biuld by a friend of mine. I put it to enclosure and made all the connections and wiring.

Very cool. Question though are you hot swapping the board battery to the external battery. If so did you relocate the esc plug to the back of the enclosure?

The ESC socket is relocated to the back of enclosure. So is the internal battery plug. ;)

What type of extra battery did you use? What are the stats like? Where did you get the bettery and the battery enclosure?

Inside the enclosure are actually two packets, one is 10s1p, second 10s3p, connected together with one BMS. 10s1p was taken form my old board. 10s3p was made by a friend of mine. I think the max range of that setup on pneumatic wheels is around 40 km. On cloudwheels 60+ km. Enclosure - amazon, ebay, ali. Whatever. Nothing special. ;)

Podesłałbyś jakiś kosztorys/listę elementów? Z tego co rozumiem, baterie nie pracują równolegle, tylko przepinasz na jedną bądź drugą? Jakiś konkretny powód takiego rozwiązania?

Główny koszt to oczywiście bateria. Ja miałem stary pakiet 10s1p, dołożyłem nowy 10s3p na ogniwach LG z BMS i robocizną wyszło 800 zł. Dziś, wiadomo, będzie na pewno więcej to kosztować. Do tego 2 x złączki xt60, jedno gniazdo xt60e-m, trochę przewodu silikonowego w dwóch kolorach i opolot - to pewnie max 20 zł. Obudowa 11 zł. :) Oprócz baterii, wszystko spokojnie samemu w garażu zrobiłem. Odnośnie podłączenia baterii. Powód prozaiczny. To chyba jest najprostsze rozwiązanie. Nie zawsze mam ochotę z tą dodatkową baterią jeździć stąd opcja, że można ją zdjąć. ;) Pozdrawiam

I battery just fried on my AT2. I also have a meepo hurricane and its so much better. The torque makes all the difference I can do donuts on my hurricane. Sell that, get a hurricane.
