Thank you sir for your review. I appreciate you. I am very happy that you are content with our products. Regarding the silver colored buckle just one historical comment. After BD Serge early pattern the buckle changes on the late serge pattern from wired buckle to the teeth buckle but the color remained same. When the 1940 pattern, I mean economy pattern (Austerity) was introduced the type of teeth buckle has remained same just silver (nickel) has been no more used and buckle was just kyanized and achieved matt gray color. This is the difference. Of course when the producers has any remained buckles no one in WW2 throwed them to the trash and just used them for the newer and may be also for the earlier pattern. It's the late version of the first model, a.k.a 1940 pattern (If that makes sense)
