Thank you for making sense of this.I thought my esc wasn't right, got one that looks exactly like it. Now it looks like i only need adapters for my motor and battery. Got the 2 speed gearbox and a 20 g servo.

Great video! I recently got a wpl c24 for Christmas and the stock motor and battery are crap! Can’t ride over anything without getting stuck! I’m new to rc and have been researching what to replace and this video helps a lot with hooking things up! Thanks a ton !!!!🙏🙏🙏

Thanks for making this! It helped me work out some kinks in my build. The first esc I bought went bad and stopped working and the second one worked until I assembled everything back together and then the steering stopped. I don’t really know where the problem is coming from. The motor works directly from the battery.

Which Tactic servo is that in there. The link in your description is for the cheap Electrobot servos? Thanks.
@rcnewb6 жыл бұрын
Sorry about that oversight. It’s a Tactic TSC10 (www.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXDKDS).

What orientation do the plugs go into the RX, As far as the DIY motor goes, which side of it is positive and does one need a capacitor
@rcnewb6 жыл бұрын
I'll check my setup and will get back to you.

If you hold your receiver so you can read the labeling, the receiver plug should have the exposed contacts facing up. When you wire the motor, looking at it from the rear of the truck, the red wire is soldered on the left side and the black wire is soldered on the right. No capacitor is needed (from what I've found).

What do you recomend for a replacement motor
@tataconas6 жыл бұрын
Brian Longto not a pro but a 180 motor
@rcnewb6 жыл бұрын
Daniel's suggestion would be my suggestion at this point. I haven't looked at replacement options, but a small, 180-size motor should match up the best with this vehicle.

What connection is it for the 2s lipo battery? Deans plug?
@rcnewb6 жыл бұрын
You should be able to use whatever connector you'd like, simply rewire the connection. That's what I ended up doing to use the JST plug vs the stock connector.

Sir can u tell me from where and which battery u use for that rc car and can u send me the link that I can buy from there thanks
@rcnewb6 жыл бұрын
I bought a battery pack from this site. I’m using the 6V hump pack, but one of the flat packs might work too (as long as you measure your battery tray dimensions). www.maxxpacks.com/index.php?cPath=80_84&osCsid=62qlvmg45v5hjc2uqqco0tnj96

@@rcnewb Hi! I looked on that website and there are many 6v hump battery. Which one did you get? I want to make sure I order the correct one. Thanks!

New to rc how do u wire up the servo for steering
@rcnewb4 жыл бұрын
Hi David. The servo will plug into your 2.4GHz receiver and shouldn't require much work beyond that.
