I never knew anything about Cael until both my boys started wrestling. Then I read about what he had accomplished and I was truly blown away, granted my boys started much later in the sport and didn't have the added benefit of a coaching dad (I never wrestled since there wasn't a program wherever I attended school), but still his achievements in the sport are truly remarkable. . I think its basically the perfect storm of ability, drive, coaching, a strong support system etc. that gave the world Cael Sanderson. It might arguably be the greatest achievement in any sport in history.
@kmacksmcdonald6475 Жыл бұрын
True, having a dad coach and 2 older brothers. He also started officially at 9 years old. Most kids who start later and do not have a coaching dad will be behind a Cael Sanderson type. Best of luck to your boys though.

Sanderson is obviously an individual of incredible material. People like him certainly need to be studied in order to hopefully share and teach his traits to other individuals. Sometimes however you just have to take in the total and complete being because they warrant a holistic in the attempt to understand.

Dynasty complete now Cael! But here comes Iowa! Can’t wait for March! Bring more DI Programs back ASAP; it’s been long enough since Title IX and many of the SEC & ACC could begin adding back their DI lost back in the 90s! They have plenty of money, such as Clemson(who should have no problem with their Olympians they’ve had prior; plus Football/IPTAY Money, Facilities, & if NC State/UNC/Duke/App St/Citadel/Etc can...Clemson can too), Auburn, Alabama, UGA, It’s time! Bring more DI Wrestling back ASAP!! #MakeCollegiateWrestlingGreatAgain
