My question was how this a wr. Its a question cause slight human errors ans also getting hit sometimes, is it cause this game isnt liked that much people dont bother to iron out every error to get it physically to the fastest time?

both the addition of (at the time) newly discovered bop boosts (a major skip used in the run multiple times) and also the fact that the WR prior had not yet been played on PAL60 - the version of the game where it runs at 120% speed. Given this category uses RTA time rather than IGT like the Story speedruns, it made it an easier advantage, while still being a valid way to play the game. This was only a WR by a few seconds against the NTSC-U time, which admittedly does have better movement from a more skilled runner than I. This WR is simply a result of version advantage.

I swear this game sucks. Even doing good going A to B things like edges on floors and those rolling rocks screw you so many times. I had a lot of fun when i got this game as a kid.
