Two things: 1) A government is NOT supposed to operate like a business. The goal of a government should be to provide the best possible environment for its citizens. 2) The Constitution says that Congress has the power of the purse. It's not bloated. It's overfilled for continuity purposes. Humans aren't robots. They get sick, need leave, overworked, may quit or may die. You overfill the jobs for those purposes. Yes technically 1 person can do a job. But if any of those things happens to that person and you don't have immediate backup you are screwed as a supervisor. You don't have time to just train a new person also if that one person ups and quits, dies or wants leave. It will result in inefficiency and immediate disorganization. A lot of times, most jobs are understaffed. I used to think the same way you did until I saw what happens when you realized workers are NOT robots on an assembly line.

I understand & appreciate the information offered here to the uninitiated BUT I am a member in one of the oldest unions in America. Yes, they can fire people. Yes, it's complicated but it can be done. In my experience they may 1st offer a "separation package" for employees who volunteer to leave. If that does not work, union employees can be "furloughed" aka laid-off indefinitely. Yes you're still in the union IF you continue paying union dues BUT there's no guarantee you will ever have an opportunity to go back to work. It's all seniority & skill based.

It’s easy being a news agency as an outsider projecting your opinion, looking in. How many of these people building these stories have firsthand experience dealing with government agencies and government jobs? I have seen firsthand the waste of many of these government jobs dealing with the military and after the military with the VA. Many of these jobs you only get if you know somebody. You only get it through who you know not what you know. Many of these jobs are overstaffed you have six people sitting around joking and laughing doing nothing when you only need one or two people doing the job. walk-through NVA specially the large facilities and you see people just joking and laughing and you’ll see that most of the people there are good friends and know each other and how they got the job. They all sit there laugh goof off instead of doing their job and then you wonder why veterans are sitting around waiting forever to get anything done for them. if you’re hired to get a job you’re hired to do the job. I have no problem with people having jobs. I don’t want people to lose their jobs but if you have a job, there should be a job for you to do. We should not be wasting tax dollars on just making things up and having people sit around on their thumbs.

When the Pentagon has failed it's audit for the last 7 years, and no one is keeping track where all the money to Ukraine is going, we have a VERY serious problem. As they say, we don't have a money problem, we have a spending problem. This is way overdue. Elon has said he would advise giving them very generous severance packages, so they'll be fine. Get rid of the EPA & Government Agency or Department that makes Regulations that are really law without going through Congress thus they are all Unconstitutional. Some facts I want to put out there. I have been involved in crypto since 2012 and the best thing after BTC has always been Doge. Btw the pronunciation of Doge is from an old TV cartoon show. Also want to correct you where you said Doge is volatile - Doge is 💯 opposite of volatile and that's why the prices stays under $1. It's perfect by design for 24/7 transactions with extreme low fees. Doge has one key difference from Bitcoin: while Bitcoin has a lifetime supply limit, Dogecoin was created with an annual issuance limit, allowing for a continuous supply. Dogecoin was developed shortly after Bitcoin, using much of Bitcoin's original code, but this difference in supply structure impacts their respective market behaviors. As a result, Dogecoin's market cap can grow substantially, yet its price remains relatively stable. I hope everyone's understands Doge a little better. Also it's supported by a nonprofit foundation and they often team up with other organizations and companies to do good everyday!
