Great video with lots of info. Now I understand why I am having so much trouble figuring out my cooling issues with my 2014 JK. It makes no sense to me. I can not even find my cooling fan relay.

That's because there is not 1. The PWM setup you do not need any relays because it's wired thru the TIPM straight to the positive battery terminal.

wow, you are one educated man. subscribed. the absolute BEST video I have ever watched on youtube. I learned more in 15min with you than I normally would in a month of videos. Question if you see this, Can I use a digital PWM frequency controller ,that allows me to dial in frequency and duty cycle, to turn on my fan and bypass the ECM by creating my own temp controlled switch circuit? I am running the HEMI 6.4L and simply want more fan control.

Just replaced the trans on my 08 at 100000km. it ran hot regularly. So with the new trans came a nice big new cooler. I thought it may cause a temp rise in the engine but it seems to be running a tad cooler. I was so close to pulling the pin on your conversion but being in Australia even second hand 6.0ls packages are a bit pricey. Hmm maybe when the 3.8 packs it in you'll hear from me.

Would love some info on a 3.6L JK since they switched from a 2 speed double fan to a PWM variable speed 1 fan. I cannot find any good pertinent info for late-model JKs (2012+).

great video with awesome information! I have a question. I have a fan from a 2020 gladiator and I'm trying to run it in an ls swapped 1960 Bel Air. the fan has a 3-wire plug. Question is what frequency Is the PWM signal, wire. Or is this even possible to work?

I have a 14 JK with factory 3.6L engine that overheats up grades and only up grades. i have 35"s and geared to 4.88s. I have upgraded the radiator with a mishimoto all aluminum hi efficiency, replaced the T-stat with a 180 degree, all with minimal improvement. help...?

I have a 2014 Rubicon unlimited with a 4.5" synergy lift with 35's and I also have skid plates installed. Today it was a 115 degrees out side and I noticed as soon as i started driving the temp guage went to the half way mark pretty fast so when I drive in the mountains I have noticed sometimes the temp go a little higher past the middle mark in the past which makes me a little worried about overheating can you suggest anything please. I've got a 2012 jk 2dr on Utah and seem to run hot also, at 100* plus I'm hitting 210-225 pretty much all the time. Thinking of going with the Mishimoto aluminum cooling set up. Have you looked into replacing yours? if so with what?
