Wrap Around Rustic Fireplace Mantel

These cut off beams were given to me by a gracious neighbor. I wanted to build something special with them and being inspired by so many of you on KZbin I thought I'd shoot video of my process to hopefully inspire others.
I need to give a huge thanks to Tim Sway and Bill Lutes who said not to worry about not always having the right tool. Just start building. That really inspired me since I didn't have a lot of tools to work with it actually made it a lot of fun.

+William Lutes I'm so happy you like it Bill, It's words that came out of your mouth that made it happen. I was really self conscious about not having the right tools until you and Tim said to just start making with Popsicle sticks and glue and I realized I can do better then that so I dusted off the camera, charged the battery and started making my first maker film that day.

Thanks Rod, My wife (actually fiancé, I just wear the ring too) doesn't have a lot of choice since I invade our whole small house when I work on something lol. I don't have a workshop other then a little shed and since it's winter in Canada and freezing most days the living room and kitchen become my workshop:) Maybe one day I'll get a garage at least lol.
