In this one a broken rear triangle has me rewrap my high gloss Yeti mountain bike frame but I do it in a matte finish. Sorry, I didn't include footage of wrapping Shade, maybe the next vid. #ridewrap

Hi there - great video, thank you! I have a question before I go ahead and choose gloss or matte on my high gloss frame...My bike is also a year old and has a few scratches . Do you think a gloss wrap would cover the existing scratches as good a the matte you've used or do you recommend matte for that purpose?

Hey Marcin, That is a great question. I think either will do a great job of hiding existing scratches but maybe the gloss on gloss would blend them a bit better than matte on gloss. I have not specifically watched for that though. I would reach out to @RideWrap and double check as they were great with all my questions regarding matte or gloss as they wrap thousands of frames. Let me know what you discover. Thanks for the question. 🤘👊

Thanks RTL! In your video you’re saying matte on gloss covered scratches on your bike well, right?

@@marcina.wilinski4059 I don't believe I talk about covering older scratches already on the frame and covering them with a new wrap and what that looks like. I address scratches on the ride wrap and how under the wrap the frame looks new. You'll get some blending with the wrap to mute scratches but the wrap is see thru so if it is a gouge in the paint you'll prob still see it. Sorry, not much help, I know. I'd fire @RideWrap a message and see what they think.

Don't buy ridewrap. It's overpriced and the application process is pure frustration.

I haven't replaced it after peeling it off to custom paint my frame and it is not on one of my boys new bikes. Hmmmm 🤔
