" You have been disconnected '' lol, had to log back in asap for not being kicked from ICC raid when it was not a guild raid...we had a sense of reward when completing a raid back then...had to form groups with players from same realm...no crossrealm groups or lfr at the time , no sir!!!...but then again, we had crowded servers in the past...now even crossing realms we have some desolated places in the game...what a shame, and what a wonderful game, pains me to see it wither like this...but nothing lasts forever, sadly...FOR THE ALLIANCE!!!

Leandro Soares I play on one of the least populated servers in the game, and we manage to get over 50 people raiding in total on raid nights. Also, why would there not still be a sense of reward for completing a raid now? While yes, my raid team is fairly casual, we can't manage to kill all the mythic bosses until the next raid comes out, cuz mythic is fucking hard.

Calin B I was always a warrior because I liked the swords and the gray common mail armor you get in starter zone. I kept remaking trial accounts and eventually when I made it to dark shore i fucking loved the area and the questing. So I finally bought the game and was able to quest all of darkshore and progress after. It was my favorite place in the game then cataclysm destoryed it and it was terrible all the memories during wotlk the horde raiding world pvp, hanging out there, the questing, and original map was not the same after it got destroyed.When I bought the game I mained a Draenei paladin since I found out how paladin healed and had plate armor. I haven’t bought BFA yet, idk when I’ll play again just matter of feeling like paying and having time. In the Wotlk days I would pull all nighters or wake up early and play for hours it was hella fun questing and gearing up and exploring every zone as I quested. Can’t wait for classic and hope they do expansion launches to relive the old Azeroth.

FlyingKV in the end Cataclysm is what killed it for me, too. Just before the expansion dropped, I moved house and didn't get an Internet connection for several weeks. When I finally got back to WoW the whole world had changed and the guild I was in and everyone I knew ingame, had just gone. The whole server died. It currently has fewer than 100 Horde players. I played on my own for quite a while after that (I personally really liked Cataclysm, and Vashj'ir made me feel the way I did when I very first started as a Night Elf during The Burning Crusade) but I never found another friend to play with. Even though I have bought every expansion, I haven't even played Legion or Battle for Azeroth, I just have no heart for it anymore, but I still really miss it.

That part in "Glooooria honorifice proelium facio" above all.... at 8:40 is very diffucult to translate and understand keeping in mind just the tempo and the exactl figures lenght if you don't know the original very very clear, so in taht case I think its better to sing by ear, in this particular case I think it gets better, I tell you cause I sang it too, and although I knew the song, not everyone of my choir partners did as well (not by heart), so they needed to (tried to) understand that exactly lenght by counting and once we did there was more work to assemble and join that with the orchestra and.... don't, very hard to get to understand and replicate it was... so Good job I have to say too!

As a former violinist, I would've had much higher expectations, especially since they are college students, not middle schoolers, but some of them are probably less experienced than I am so I can cut them some slack. Part of the problem could be mics (as someone who once sat right behind the trumpets, I think the brass don't really need mics to be heard clearly), but I think part of it is also the conductor, because parts of it seem to drag on and are at a significantly slower tempo than in the original soundtrack. He probably hasn't heard the song enough times to know that his tempo is off. Some of the notes sounded off-pitch, too. Overall, I think they did a good job and most people would find it enjoyable. It just gets really irritating for me because I have a trained ear.
@M4XC4V413R46 жыл бұрын
Yes, the mic positions are definitely the problem on this recording. Them being in college doesn't necessarily mean they're going to be good btw, this is a student-run orchestra, and the kids playing there aren't guaranteed to be music students, just students of the college in question.

I played WOW WOTLK when i was 11 - 12 for one year, the best game and experience of my life. It was my first time playing wow, my brothers introduced me to it. This right here actually brought a tear to me, the good fucking times, the times when i didn't have to worry about any difficult home work. I'm a senior now in high school. Damn the amount of things i would give just to go back to that timeline for play this specific expansion again. Truly magnificent
