To all the people that obviously dont know much about speedrunning, they are not cheating by doing glitches. They are doing any% which means that anything can go. Glitches and exploits are allowed. There is a different category for not using any exploits.

Go watch a speedrun of a game that has a lot of speedrunning. Lets take super mario 64 and you will see unintended glitches and "cheats". Glitches are common in speedruns on almost any game and destiny is not any different

Bungie knows that clipping is a thing and its aloud also thats the whole point in a speedrun on destiny or any game its about doing it as fast as possible and not using clips would only make the run last longer if you wanna see the no sort of glitch watch old runs then youll realise how much time clipping saves as well as death warps partglitch and seige skip and powerslides .the old strats were just too slow to achieve something like a sub 14 wotm this is also going for ever raid in d1 so think before you criticize any skilled players in d1

Yeah that's literally it. Those archetypes of scouts have 48 impact and it takes 49 to one shot shanks. Accurized ballistics increase your impact by 1 on burning eye making it so you can. Treads is by far the best scout for literally everything else tho. Especially if you get a god roll one..

@@hesters1082 I mean its personal preference. And I LOVE treads cause you can get so many different roles for different situations. Obviously if you have disciplinarian you can one shot shanks, but then you don't have explosive for everything else and for non-fallen. imo... For an "everything" treads. I'd do The Vision of Confluence Ranged scope (i forgot the name) Crowd Control, Explosive Rounds, and Reactive Reload OR Army of One. Army of One is probably better, just cause more abilities can be up and crowd control is already good.

Remember the loot cave and how Bungie patched that because that's not how you are supposed to be playing the game? Same rule applies here knowing Bungie and their track record :) I was actually an early advocate against the loot cave. I saw it as harm to players and their enjoyment in a game. Jayden Ashby they did a part glitch where a Titan as it looses its hammer of sol you pick up a part and it registers it picked up but you can run and Titan skate etc and when you get to one of the places to put the part down they press y or triangle and the part would work like normal to then put it in its correct location

Apparently some absolutely brain-dead people don’t know the following.,. - What an any% speed run is - What is the difference between Exploits and Hacking? Well, let’s dive in. (Note that I’m kinda tilted by the fact that someone REPORTED the fireteam for using exploits that lie within the game. And I also have no idea if ‘exploit’ is the right term. So if it isn’t, replace it with the term ‘glitch’ An any% speed run is basically just ‘how fast can you beat the raid?’ The only thing that you can be disqualified for is the use of 3rd party software. (Macros, cheats, *YOU CAN USE EXPLOITS BECAUSE HOLY FU-* , etc) Exploits are ALLOWED. And there’s a DIFFERENCE between EXPLOITS, and HACKING. Now, what the actual f%ck is the difference. Exploits are using the games flaws to your advantage, whilst hacking is (most likely) paying a service to grant you a script. This script contains cheats. (No-clip, {NOT THE F%CKING EMOTE YOU RETA-} Infinite Ammo/Health, Unnatural damage boosters, etc) I’ve never bought scripts so I just listed a couple possible things. Now, exploits, what’s the difference? Like I said before, exploits….they use the FLAWS, of the F%CKING GAME. I’ve had to explain to too many lfgs as to why they’re wasting their time reporting me when I’m wall clipping with an emote. ‘But hold up SIVA, you just said No-Clipping was in a SCRPIT!’ Well you’re right, but this is a Bungie game. Taunt/Emote/Wall clipping are a different thing than cheats. With the ‘Come At Me’ emote, when you stick out your arms fully, your character’s hitbox changes. So you push down on your left analog stick and press the crouch button. What this does is reposition your actual character towards that hitbox. And if that hitbox is on the other side of the wall, then you just clipped through it. ‘But no-clipping is still cheating’ just please shut the fuck up. I hope I somewhat managed to both explain those two points, and how absolutely stupid you are. Ps - *DARK DRINKER WITH TETHER IS NOT THE FUCKING PLAY. WHOEVER TOLD YOU THAT DOESN’T KNOW WHAT THE ANALOG STICKS DO*
