Increase penalties for gun ownership lawbreakers too.... 10 years ago lil wayne was found guilty of possession as a felon, he didn't even do a year. A few years ago he was found guilty again... trump pardoned him... You wonder why criminals don't follow the laws? Because there's little to no punishment for breaking them.

People need to raise and discipline their children. It's not the responsibility of the community, schools or police to raise them. Stop upholding these children when they do wrong and stop giving them the proverbial crutches of lack of education, no dad in the house and poverty.
@trusno77512 жыл бұрын
Absolutely correct! The people really don't have time to raise their own children, because they are busy tryna keep food on the table, maybe they need to stop having children for a little while, until they can get their family structures together, that way we don't have to continue having these conversations about disobedient children, and senseless violence going on in the community due to the children not being properly raised! Shh sad!

It all begins with sexual education and access to preventative measures, so that people grow up and not have kids they can’t afford. In turn, we won’t have neglected children in the streets.

I do agree parents need to raise and discipline their children however it is also the community, schools, police, and churches. It takes a village and when we think not my child not my problem it becomes one for all of us. I have well behaved sons but l am not doing it alone. My village is my back bone.

Start prosecuting the criminals for one. We need to let the police do their job and stop giving third and fourth chances. Secondly we need to bring more development to these communities. Not run the people out, but bring them the same amenities that are in Mississippi and Cordova. Drugs ain’t necessarily the problem. If you add more amenities and money making opportunities, crime and poverty will go down. The population isn’t the problem, it’s the infrastructure and generational lack of discipline. 💯💯 the city officials won’t fix this because crime is money, WE must!!

Very few after school activities, we had dances after school every Friday @ 3 PM. We had drama classes, science club, other club meetings after school. We went on more school field trips than these kids do. We went to the movies, museums, we went on picnics, spent the day downtown, skating rink, bowling alley. We would do class room plays. Then in summer little league baseball, we would learn how to build our own go cart as a group. There was always something to do. Block parties and going to the amusement park, community pool Churches used to sponsor neighborhood events along with neighborhood stores
