What most amazes me about these is they’re real now, but like hoverboards, they were faked by cable work, special effects and cgi for decades, yet the real thing moves just like they’ve been faked to move for those decades, so kudos to those who imagined and faked them all those years, apparently they got it spot on!

what amazes me is people celebrating obviously bad design; relying on your upper body strength is really not smart. There are backpack versions of this where the engines are off your shoulders, and simply your weight makes it stable. It does not rely on strength. You could be knocked out cold and the thing could be programmed to land safely... the Iron-man version however, if you can't keep your arms rigid enough, you dead.

@@abates3747 bullshit you are only need upperbody strength when you want to hover, but even then the backpack still got you flying doesnt need it cause on that you only need enough power to steer on the arms. Also if wren could manage it a better built man with shoulder back muscles well developed in some everyday physical work would do it easily. No offense on Wren, he is very agile.

The thing I noticed with this video and Clint's video about being lit on fire, is that they are in the "zone". True passions and interests being displayed and their reactions towards them. Clint was vulnerable, and it showed, but it was the adrenaline pushing him forward. A unique experience waiting for him. Wren is a nerdy cool guy, and pursuing that goal of hovering shows the euphoria that everyone looks for.
