Triple chain ring is the best for heavy loaded long distance paved roads touring bikes … wide range , strong , easy to fix by the side of the road

This was the first video I have seen that made bottom brackets and crank assemblies make sense to me. Thanks Igor.

40:11 Yes on signature crimp! I don't tell the customer. When the bike comes back to the shop I know if the customer or another shop has been messing with the cables new or otherwise.

It's nice to see new 2x in action. It seems like a great fit for this build.

That bar tape job looked real tidy. With the crazy bars I would have gone for a touch of color to make them pop, but that's me. Thanks for the explanations. This is the sort of content that makes me support a brand.

Hey Igor, very cool video! I enjoyed watching it a lot! Small note: if you don’t find the trusty spoke to open the cable hole you can use the little needle that’s included in the shimano cutter (the blue part can be pulled out) 😊

Enjoyed the video. My understanding of that tab on the nondrive side of the Shimano crank is there to check if the crank is properly located before you tighten up the clamp bolts. It is supposed to be able to go flush, which means the pin drops in the hole in the spindle and the crank arm is on the spindle far enough but not too far.

🏴‍☠️look closely at 40:20. Pedal washer going on. And the pedals already had a light coat of grease.

Great video! Also, I never knew you were local to Baltimore. Do you have a store front where we can purchase or pick up products rather than shipping?
@velo_orange
@velo_orange 10 ай бұрын
Yep! We're in Glen Burnie. We do have a storefront with a bunch of show bikes and hush hush prototype stuff. Shoot us an email ahead of time if there is a particular bike or frame size you'd like to try out. Otherwise, if it's in stock on the site, you can pick it up here.

Does it use a star-nut or compression bung to hold the steerer in place?

@lastfm4477
@lastfm4477 7 ай бұрын
I *love* them. I've passed on good deals on 6-bolt as I never want another one of them. I'm done with stuck bolts that round off and need vice grips to get off when changing a rotor. Giant and others over tighten them at the factory and use tons of lock tight. Center lock is *so* easy to get off and on.
