It would have been of the biggest disasters in wrestling history. On top of that, Bulldog not only would have embarrassed his own brother in law (Bret Hart) but he also would have embarrassed himself in front of his wife (Bret’s sister) and his home country.

Young fans today who dont understand exactly why Bret is maybe the best ever,,, should look at that match. Noone was more professional, which is why he didn't get along with Shawn in later years. But it's fact that Vince was so impressed with Bret for handling that match so well, that he made him the face of the entire company from that point forward, well, after 1 more undeserved Hogan 'career achievment award' type win lol. But still. It's crazy to think if that match went really bad, Bret might have never been a top guy.

Bret was and is an absolute legand and it's a slap in the face to the guys who work their @$$es off to be near his level to only have a hack like Roman come along with his 5 weak moves and be risen to the top. It's sad how standards have fallen
