To fend off an opponent’s shot and hold onto the lead, you will want to have the right defensive techniques in your arsenal. The sprawl is a solid option for you to guard against lower-body attacks.
To perform the sprawl, you will drop to the mat by bringing your legs back and allowing your hips to hit the mat. It is important to keep your chest and head off of the mat when performing this move.
