"Bernardo Faria is a 5x World Champion. Bernardo started training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Juiz de Fora - MG, Brazil at the age of 14 in 2001. After receiving the Black Belt from his first instructor Ricardo Marques in 2008, He moved to Sao Paulo to join BJJ legend Fabio Gurgel and his Alliance team. Never had faith in the traditional "Double Leg takedown", but this variation really seems to be something that would be hard to counter just by posturing, hence making this a higher percentage takedown.

I suck at doing this so I definitely need to practice "breaking the glass". My problem is my left knee is made of glass as well so I may end up way better on one side than the other.

I used to have problems with this because I would go straight down on my knee. It hurt like crazy sometimes. The trick is to lower your level first and then do then penetration step. If you can't get this to work right, just focus on body lock takedowns. Mma fighters don't even need to know a ton of grappling. Look at Israel Adesanya. It's like Bruce Lee said, you should fear the many who has drilled one punch a million times before you fear the man who has drilled a million different kinds of punches one time each. Specialists are thriving in mma today. Look at Khabib and Israel. There are levels to this shit man. I'm just a blue belt. I've watch MMA since the Pride days.
