people complained back then too about wrestling being taken over by cartoonish bodybuilders. edit: as mentioned in the video, WCW fans hated it's gritty southern wrestling becoming like the cartoonish new york product. it's always been a complaint, doesn't make it any less valid a complaint. but i'd rather watch this than a young bucks match.

Where I grew up in Canada, WCW was only on the premium cable channels that my family didn't have, so I never really saw much of any WCW growing up. I saw little fragments here and there during this time if I went to a friends house who did have the premium channels on a Saturday night. So all this stuff you put out on WCW in this era is really interesting to me, and I really enjoy it. Keep up the great work Good Sir!!

Vader was great in WCW. Naturally once Vince got his hands on him, the mastodon was killed. Of course Vince botched the booking for most former WCW stars including Sting. This mini doesn't help 😔

I saw WCW live at Wembley arena as a kid with my dad, in 92 or 93. The main event was Sting/Vader. Sting got the pin fall! I remember cheering all the heels that night and wore my Vader t-shirt.

The Sting vs Vader was a very brutal rivalry I loved the interview segment where Sting came out and broke a 2 by 4 on Vader's back in retaliation for him jumping during a tag team match on WCW Saturday Night

This video reinforces my assertion that Sting should've been the one to end Goldberg's streak. Sting had a history of taking on the biggest badasses in WCW.
