WM6 will forever reign supreme in my heart. I was 8 and watching Hogan and Warrior square off was just absolutely epic. "Did you just see that??" IoI... after we realized what we both saw and came to terms with it, we were kind of expecting it to happen. WM17 is truly a well deserved number 1 here. Everything leading up to the show was just perfect. I was quite surprised that WM31 didn't show up, that would have been my number 2 pick.

Great work here my friend. Video well done. My personal fav mania in my (bias) opinion is between WM 6 and 18... only because I was at both of these Manias. To experience Hogan/Warrior as a kid and Hogan/Rock in my 20s live in person was energy on another level from the crowd. I have been to countless music festivals, big time concerts and events through out my life and nothing compared to that. Thunderous energy and pops.

I was one of those that happened to be done with the day to days of wrestling in 2002. Real life responsibilities took over. Outside of a couple things ("ECW" and Summer of Punk), I haven't watched since, and I don't think I've missed much.

In my opinion my favorites are all around the times of the Monday Night Wars. Both companies elevated my interest and kept me passionate.

Mania 19 is one of my favorites, I loved angle and lesnar, michaels and jericho, and mcmahon and hogan. What a great show

Many great selections here, but being an 80's kid, for me nothing really tops Hogan and Warrior in their showdown from WrestleMania 6.

I can see why you obviously would pick Mania 17 as the last RTW show, but I honestly would love to see you cover the invasion storyline at the end. I know its a bit of rubbing the loser's face in it, but Ive been enjoying your take on the shows so far, so Id love the Wrestlingbios tour of Invasion also!

I first became aware of WWE aged 11, in 1989 thanks to the first ever WWE arcade game. I was instantly hooked…I was 16 when I met Davey Boy Smith (Really nice guy btw) I was 18 when I saw Wrestlemania 14 live, the official beginning of the attitude era…I’m 44 now, still watching and loving wrestling…

I was at mania xix for a stag do, greatest live experience of my life, but I agree with 17, I still watch that one with 18 and 19 on a regular basis for how good that era was. WM17 with savage vs Steamboat would've been perfection. If only that match was on a modern day card. My fave match ever

I was bias in my selection fo 18 as I was there live at the Skydome, but if I was being honest I enjoy the matches of 17 the best. Haven't seen 19 in a long time, so going to go rewatch that as I forgot how great it is. That said, I'll always be fully bias to 3 as I watched that with my dad as a kid on repeat.

What also made the Mains III so incredibly, and apparently tragic, was that according to Hogan, the 2 ton Andre died the next day after being bodyslammed. Truly incredible. 🤣

Great list! As for the triple threat match at wrestlemania 20, I get why people don’t like bringing it up because Chris Benoit is involved. But taking my personal feelings out of it, it’s still one of the best main events ever at wrestlemania. Such a shame, it could never be praised because of one of the participants.
@KevinPayton-fq8gd Жыл бұрын
Same with me. The main event is still one of my favorite triple threat matches ever.
@EVGriffinJr Жыл бұрын
@@KevinPayton-fq8gd it is. I don’t let my personal feelings about Chris Benoit taint that. In terms of match quality, it’s the blueprint of how a triple threat match should be done. Along with the legendary, unbreakable three-way between AJ, styles, Christopher Daniels, and Samoa Joe and the one from WWE vengeance with the rock, Kurt angle, and the undertaker.
