I always see people say Joker Sting was reminiscent of Heath Ledger's Joker, but I never saw it. It was definitely a much more Jim Carrey Riddler inspired take on The Joker character than anything else. The only thing you can say was Heath Ledger inspired was the facepaint.

I remember hearing Sting actually hated the Crow gimmick, despite it being so over, just because he had to be so quiet. Sting loves showing that charisma and getting crazy on the mic. A lot of peopled shat on the Joker Sting gimmick at the time but I could just feel that he was having a blast with that gimmick.

Sting is a master performer. He took The Crow gimmick and made it his own perhaps even outshinning the movie. Then taking the Joker gimmick and making it something completely fresh and unique. Steve is an amazing legend.

I absolutely LOVED this storyline! It was great seeing Sting reinvent himself once again. And it's funny how he (Sting) called Bischoff the cancer of TNA/Impact when it was Hogan who single-handedly drove it into the ground! And actually if you want to get technical, the downfall of TNA happened when Jarrett gave FULL control to Dixie Carter! Great video.

I intially wasn't a fan of the whole 'Joker' gimmick that Sting had in his TNA run at first but just like always, he made the character work and it ended up being very entertaining, you can definitely tell he was having a lot of fun with it and his promos during this time were really out there but in a good way. Sting proved once again that he is an incredible versatile performer and can turn anything you put in front of him to gold.

Incredible gimmick! One of those things WWE fans buried! While John Cena was being forced down people's throats! I absolutely loved TNA around this time! Compared to WWE now TNA was way better!
