The thing with the Dungeon of Doom was, Kevin Sullivan has said repeatedly over the years since that he created the faction in order to appease Hogan, and make him comfortable, as Hogan was still used to the comic book, goofy, cartoon style characters of the WWF when he was working for Vince. I don't think Sullivan even liked the faction much.

The flip side is also true if the title could change on DQ. One of the guys to just get one of their friends to “attack” them and get the champ disqualified and win the title in a cheap way like that.
