Everyone needs to check out guys like the Dudleys and Mark Henry talk about working with Mae Young, she was a legitimate badass and completely fearless. Bubba’s said he was really apprehensive about putting her through a table the first time, but she was all “Ah quit being a pansy and man up!”

That’s why they had a squash match in the semi main event, they were pushing Harlem heat 2000. That’s right, not only did they lose major young talent, they pushed people with No talent. Sorry Stevie Ray, you’re alright in your mic and ring work, but your no Booker and the cardboard cutouts you have as tag partners have the wrestling skills of a brick, and are about as safe.

A handful of them went on to be very successful but a lot of them felt like they could have been so much more. But here's Hogan/Flair 37, a match that no one asked for.

I think it’s because as fast as they’ve now risen they’ll be left behind and split up just as fast. To have Edge and Christian, the Dudley’s and the Hardy’s spearhead tag wrestling in the coming months other teams are going to be mid card guys to flesh out the division.

Mark, big show, hell even Fatu left the wwf to train up and return to take up the Rikishi gimmick, Vince knew what he wanted in his big wrestlers and was ready to take them off television to retrain them, even when they were big on tv, even when they were former wwf champion. Viscera is also gone to Memphis now I think, of course he was never the safest wrestler in the world no matter the training, but he would return years later to try and seduce Lilian Garcia so his mic skills are at least going to develop.

My personal suggestion - Perry Saturn Did not think much of him until watching RTW. Now I massively respect his look, maleabile character work, and amazing wrestling ability (whilst in WCW. His jump to WWF was a mistake).

I like this idea. My biggest regret from back then is that even at the time, Ric Flair just seemed boring and old. His promos and style resonated well with 10ish year old me, but once it came to everything else, I wanted the younger, cooler guys. Going back through 90s wrestling makes me appreciate not only how many people Flair put over, but just how good he really was in the ring.

Honestly it really does bring me back there wasn't much to look forward to in life except wrestling was one of those things that I used to look forward to each week until it started to really suck. Definitely watching these every week brings that nostalgia back not all music great to watch but gives me something forward to look at every week. No only wrestling was good again life would be perfect we'll see on Netflix works out

I just started watching again after having had to quit watching in 2007 due to life being life. It's good. Sure there's a lot that could be better, but it's genuinely entertaining. There's a handful of incredibly talented technical guys, some amazing flyers, and a couple of great powerhouses. We've got Rollins, Punk, McEntyre and Cody that are all pretty good on the mic... It's definitely worth watching. I started watching about a year ago, and I'm hooked just like I was in 1999 again.

I had been waiting for this. This episode of Nitro was the very first wrestling show I ever attended (there was even a shot of me in one of the clips you assembled, my back to the camera of course). Obviously in hindsight I realize this was not a good show, but 11-year-old me was having the time of his life. Also learned just how loud that pyro actually was!

The best part of this series is it makes us realize the products during the Monday Night Wars weren't always so great and in between great moments there was a lot of cringe and a lot of filler. It was a moment in time though, everything was new and exciting and it worked at the time.

Every time I see Too Cool now, I can't help but think about what happened to Brian Christopher after the Attitude Era ended. He was so talented and he just got discarded, and spiraled right into the gutter. It makes me so sad when I see him here, when he was in his prime physically, and at the peak of his popularity.

Too Cool were definitely some of the best parts of the Attitude era. They were the first act I seen with my own eyes get over organically despite not being as successful as their peers. Scotty's Worm spot was prolly the most anticipated part of any show outside of a Rock promo.

This week screams that Vince had negotiated the closing of WCW acquisition and PR wanted him back on tv to act like nothing is going to happen while the WWF has the 3 year plan in place for the invasion

It was not a good look for Rock to get his way into WM main event by whining to Game. They could have built that ,where Rock is the Champion and then Game is trying to book him to lose ,by adding himself and then another opponent, and then another... And also its not very good look for the Macmahon/Helmsley as "Credible Authority" why ,That they just gave him all these chances. And now that Main event. Everybody are, just there..
