i want to say to that it was probably dust from the rigging, to get the chair to descend. They likely assembled the ring first, converted the arena seating, then put the chair in place, assembled the cage around it and then hoisted the chair up. Then probably just never cleaned the ring. (this is the same company that famously couldn't find mop buckets in a major fucking arena a few years later afterall). All that walking in the rafters to set the rigging probably knocked down a decades worth of dust, flaking paint, and oxydized iron down onto the mat.

On the preshow, they said Cactus was replacing Barry because Larry crunched his hand in a car door before the show. So even more fucked up lol, we can presume Barry was on the heel team??

Blimey WCW was bad in 1991. I’ve seen your review of the great American bash and superbrawl. Those shows were bad. This is bad. I’m noticing a trend........... Edit: I’m glad you’re finally giving negative star ratings. Unfortunately some matches justify that. I think that if the negative rating was around on the review of WM9 the undertaker v giant Gonzales match would have got one!!

WCW after Crockett sold really started to get bad the had their moments but man did they hot shot a lot stuff and treated their talent like crap most of the time
@mrkipling22014 жыл бұрын
Michael Rivera it certainly looked like it. Look at the way they treated Ric Flair. Basically drove him to join the WWF.

Michael Rivera definitely. Flair was the most high profile departure from WCW but as you said there was quite a few. Jim herd taking over had to be one of the worst decisions they ever made.

Hard agree with the Van Hammer rating, every wrestler ever has had bad matches but having a dangerous match is far worse he fucked up nearly all his moves, was incredibly unsafe and it was very negligent by WCW to allow this match to happen, I hope at the very least he got reamed out backstage. I think negative stars should only be reserved for matches like this when the workers are in danger, because bad matches are just that, bad but not detrimental to a career.

December 1991, I was 9 years, my family went to eat at a buffet restaurant and we ran into this dude that my dad worked with at the time, called Rodeo. I cant remember the reason, but in his car he had a VHS tape that had Halloween Havoc, Survivor Series and Tuesday in Texas on it. Since he knew I was a wrestling fan, he gave me the tape. (And I think also one that had SummerSlam and something else on it. Maybe Mania 8.) So I watched this show a billion times in my lifetime, roughly. So thank you for this, and Im only 30 seconds into your video. Hitting subscribe now.

I'm glad you mentioned the set, a completely underrated set. Especially because it came in the early 90's where entrance sets weren't treated as a huge deal.

Scott Steiner hosting Legends of the Hidden Temple. 3. Scott Steiner replacing Olmec on Legends of the Hidden Temple.
