I can solve the mystery of the Jericho/X-Pac restless crowd match. I attended this dumpster nuke of a show. There was some moron with a sign that read "EAT MORE BEAVER" and was trying to get it on the hard cam. When security tried to confiscate it they began playing keep away by passing it up and down the stands. That's what everyone was jeering at. Unfortunately this distracted from a very solid and pivotal match for Jericho in hindsight. If I'm not mistaken ,once security grabbed the sign successfully, an "Eat more Beaver" chant broke out during the match also. Sigh.

Lost in Unforgiven 1999 was the fact that there were two misogyny angles run side-by-side, where we had Jeff Jarrett, who's gimmick was that he openly berated and assaulted women.. and men didn't stand up to him about that. Meanwhile, Chaz was dealing with a storyline where he supposedly was the one who domestically abused Marianna and everyone looked at him as the lowest form of life (and ultimately was revealed to be innocent), and people made sure to make his life a living hell. Yeah, before Russo left, the WWF's writing was the pits, to be honest.

King: "When Moolah and Mae were out here you forgot to mention where they played football at" JR: "Real funny, I know you didn't think of that one yourself so which one of the guys in the back fed you that line" It's funny cause if you listen to Prichard's podcast he would talk about how Vince used to hate how JR would mention guys athletic background's cause to him it took away the mystique of the superstar(like talking about Diesel playing college basketball or when they were the Acolytes character Bradshaw/Farooq playing college football ) so you just know that either Bruce or Vince fed that line to Lawler and were having a laugh about it.

I was watching Unforgiven 99 quite recently and was wondering too about what happened in the Jericho/X-Pac match. I did some research into it and from what I read, the crowd was reacting to a streaker that was running loose in the audience, particularly in line of the hard cam sight. You can see how they cut to different angles to avoid getting the streaker in shot. The boos came when the streaker got evacuated out from security but then I think there was a second streaker or the same streaker managed to make his way back so who really knows. Funny how we went from Streakers to Beach Balls over the years

This PPV will always be very important to me. This was the first WWE DVD/PPV I ever watched. The year was 1999. I was six years old and earlier in the day, I went with my mum to her friends house. The women's son who was a few years older than me so I wasn't very familiar with him. I'd usually just sit & watch my mum as I was a very timid shy child...well he was watching t.v, I looked at the screen and I see a man fighting a woman!.....I find out he's watching wrestling, & its a show he had recorded the night previous & the show was called Survivor Series & the match was Chyna vs Chris Jericho. I couldn't keep my eyes off the screen & I watched the rest of the PPV with him. Later on that night we were in the supermarket & I was begging my mum to buy me a Wrestling video.. She wasn't keen as it stated you needed to be 15 years old & it was like £15 to buy, but i begged & begged & she eventually gave in. When we got home I watched this PPV in full & that when i fell in love with Wrestling.
