I've been buying loads of PS3 games since last year. It's my favorite retro system. I have a Vizio 3D tv I use to play movies and games in 3D once in a while along with other games systems. Get the games you want before prices start rising.

Thanks for the video. I have a PS3 FAT 60 Gb, but I only use it for PS2 games to prolong the console’s life. I use a super slim for PS1 and PS3 games as it’s easier to replace.

In my opinion where the PS1, PS2, PS3 excels is in fighting, racing simulation games. They aren't demanding on the hardware specs, a lot of the games from PS1 like: Tekken 3, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Rival Schools: United By Fate, Cardinal Syn, Star Gladitor etc are still enjoyable in 2024. For PS2 the combat system in ONI were also fantastic as well

I’ve found myself picking up a bunch of titles for the ps3 lately. I think I have all the defining games of that console I want. I even found gems like midnight club when I was passing through a thrift store.

Great timely video. PS3 collecting is really taking off in my area. You can still get some great games for about 10 dollars a piece. Though I think that will change in the near future.

300 plus in the past 5 months and have managed to get quite a few rare games. The real kicker is that you can actually still find ps3 games cheap be it in flea markets or fb market as most of the average person has not gotten the norm like hey som of these are rare and i can charge more unlike ps1 and ps2 games i mean i have people literally charging 20 to 50euros for fifa games i mean fifa really? good luck everyone with your hunts, hope you find some rare and decent titles too on the cheap.

Those prices for an og 60gb fat boy are for broken /parts only. You’re not going to find a one in good working order for under 300, unless you catch someone slipping or get super lucky goodwill find.

Ps3 was the first console I actually kept and didnt sell. I have the fat one :) and a white superslim that I got when I bought a gamepack with 20 games for $90 (that included Lollipop chainsaw)

I’ve always had ps3 but I started collecting hunting for stuff sometime last year. I may have 20 games to my name maybe. Now it’s probably 200 ish not all ps3 but majority are. I find most of them at goodwill and few I’ve found throughout ny trips to GameStop. My best find so far in my ps3 journey is buying ps3 console with 12 games for $$180 and it came with Web of shadows Spider-Man shattered dimension Spider-Man 3 Transformer fall of cybertron Deadpool and many others Ever since I’ve been hooked on marketplace and my daily goodwill trips when searching for vintage clothes

There actually is more of a difference than just the label on the greatest hits on PS1. I didn't know this till recently but the artwork on the disc of a black label is done up more than a greatest hit. Twisted metal comes to mine as my black label twisted metal 2 has the designed done up in red ink while the greatest hit is done the same but in black ink. Also some of the greatest hits didn't even do a design at all just a silver disc with black labeling. While the black label PS1 could have more artwork and coloring done. Now the game still plays the same either way but just wanted to add that in.

I've had all versions of PS3 fat to superslim and the one you hate the most the superslim is the most reliable one actually... You can call it ugly but you need to know you hardware skills and history/information of these systems ... The fat has the looks but they all have a built in Hardware defective Gpu/cpu , and they all suffers in time due to that to the famous red light of death, its just common knowledge since a looooong time . The first model could not handle Dolby Digital either that came on the two later versions, the slim and the superslim. The one I still have today and kicking strong and not died and working perfect is the superslim and the best reason to get that one is 1 its the last version of the PS3 so it will probably last/live the longest and 2 its the most power efficient of them all , that not only draws less power but will last longer too because of it , less strain on the system .
