I'm a former pro tennis player and did these exercises every day. They helped me clock 116 mile per hour serves and rip forehands day in and day out. I'm sharing 5 excellent shoulder exercises for tennis players using a thera band.

Neha, Thankyou. That's one of the clearest, best organized workout videos I have seen. I appreciated, too, your modesty, your letting us know which exercises especially benefited you, your efficiency of presentation, and your focusing on the subject rather than on self-promotion.

I had a really bad time today with my serves during a game. I was weak in my rotator cuff after only a few power serves and my swings slowed down alot. I lost match but that prompted me to do research to help me and i came across this video. I just wanted to thank you for making it. It made me happy to see that there is a way to get stronger and that the instructions are so easy to follow. thank you!

Ms. Uberoi, not that many women even at the upper level of today's WTA and get it consistently above 110 mph, and to do that you had to have a certain level of strength and flexibility but more you had to have learned a good serving motion, and my hat is off to you. And I know from experience that you are absolutely right that on this kind of exercise it is infinitely better to go lighter rather than heavier, especially for the muscles that make up the rotator cuff.

Coming out of second shoulder surgery. Took up tennis years after first one. This one extensive and hard to rehab/strengthen/become painfree from. Although I am currently doing a couple of these exercises already, the others are new to me, and I plan to use them right away. My goal is to play tennis painfree again, so encouraged by more tools to help me get there. Thank you!

If you have any other tips, curricula, videos that might help that would be greatly appreciated. Perhaps what your own coach used on you. I look forward to connecting with you. Best regards

do you have any excercises for strengthening lower back muscles and also to build stronger serves ?
@NehaUberoi
@NehaUberoi 3 жыл бұрын
Lower back strength is so important. I didn't make any videos but using a bosu ball for back extension, doing single and double leg Superman's and opposite arm/opposite leg raises in high reps are great way to get a strong core/back. I also really recommend swimming laps and planks.
