Hi :) In one of your previous videos, you mentioned that your ps was written in English but your study plan was in Korean. I was just wondering if it is to show them that you are able to write in both languages. This video is very very helpful, thank you! I have read that many students use quotes for their opening sentence in their personal statement (not GKS, but just generally around the world) and I definitely see the appeal in doing that to capture the attention of your reader. Could you please talk about filling the application form? Hello! I just want to know your opinion. Do you think having an ielts 8.0 score, topik level 1, latin honors, published research, and an international competition back in high school will atleast give me a chance in the SKY universities? I am not sure whether or not should i risk applying for two sky universities (embassy track) or just 1 sky university. I don't know if my credentials will atleast be enough or are the standards for these two universities are way higher. Thank you so much

Your background is strong and I believe you will be accepted. However, I’d recommend to secure yourself because all 3 choices are quite risky. First of all, besides your background, your personal statement, statement of purpose and recommendation letter play a big role. Secondly, among the regional universities PNU is the most applied universities, so it’s not easy to get acceptance from there. Ideally, I would recommend you to choose 1 SKY, 1 another university in Seoul + 1 regional. If you want to choose 2 from SKY, it’s better to choose less risky regional university, if you want to choose PNU, don’t choose 2 from SKY. That’s quite a bit of a risk, but yeah…

Choosing 2 universities from SKY can lead you to eventually study in a regional university. It’s better to choose only one from SKY. But, at the end of the day, the choices are yours, and you believe in yourself, do whichever way you desire 🫶🏻 good luck!
