Writing Simple Post-Hardcore Leads

I spend a lot of time writing in GuitarPro and on piano and my band mates have hated me for it for ages haha I recently got a 7 string and set it up in a lower tuned version of (G)DADGAD and suddenly all the stuff I write is far easier to play. Extended chords become significantly easier, and changing the highest note of the chord is also easier, if its more stretched you can go down to the lower string to tighten up where the higher note is compared to the root and fifth. Its been a lot of fun experimenting with it.
