Thanks. Definitely could have used the license plate bracket 14 months ago when I got my 2019, instead of the $70 tow-hook option. Dash-cam and AccessPort are two items next on the list. Like you, I want a rear camera and I want a parking mode when the car is off.

I horked up the money for a Raceseng towhook/license plate kit, and while cheap like the center plate mounts, that with a delete IMO looks better on the WRX.

Does this dash cam work well with Android? Can you take clips and save clips to the phone or entire trips to your phone on Android? I have a nextar and it only works with IOS

It works fine on android and you can save clips. The clips are 3min long so it would be a chore to copy an entire trip, but check out my review on it for more info.

What all did you have to remove to install the panavise mount on your 2020 STI. Do you have to remove the entire radio? Or is it possible to just remove ac controls?

You have to get behind the hu, so whatever the steps are to pull the hu out... Start with the center vent panel and work down from there

Just an FYI Subaru sells a bracket to mount to the front bumper that converts those holes originally for euro license plate into a US license plate. When I bought my WRX the dealer told me he was going to drill into my bumper and I almost shit a brick. After going back and forth for a few minutes another salesman told me they sold a bracket for about 35 dollars. Apparently this isnt a commonly known thing cause a few other salesmen didnt even know. But you can get one at the dealer right away instead of letting them drill. I know alot of people use the side spot on the front but i prefer the center location. Good stuff though.

It was literally the worst part of my shopping experience at the end being told they needed to destroy my bumper so i remember the experience well. ... #14: go trade in your '19 Base WRX for a' 20 Base STi. Oh, if I could go back 18 months... I still don't like the EJ motor, but the STi is really (really) the better car and the $6k-7k over the WRX is well spent.
