Same thing happened when I raced my buddies WRX awhile back. He’s a 5 speed and I’m a 6 speed on my ST. We took turns using a passenger and it made two different outcomes. Next, you should both try racing without any passengers. That’ll give you a good idea on how both cars do. Good, clean runs, no drama! Glad you get to do that, everyone bitches when we race🤦🏻‍♂️😂

roughly 10lbs is a 1hp. so the 430lb difference would be about 43hp difference.... No science here that I can show, but just my input... Just went and looked it up, it doesn't exactly equal out to 10/1 depending on the car/output, but it is a close estimate that you can use, give or take. So the added weight with the extra guy took away the power to weight ratio, or adjusted the initial power to weight ratio than if it were just the driver. So all in all, yes weight does effect power and or hp and 1/4mile times (this is obvious). With the 430 lb difference the lower hp car can run with the higher hp car, but when you start adding weight, things change. Sure you can say the extra guy filming was in the higher hp car and they lost. Yes the power to weight ratio was way more off than the original 430lb difference. But when you put the extra guy in the 06 that was winning they fell behind. So the extra weight added to more than the total weight of the other car divided by the weight of the extra guy and you get roughly (assuming extra guy is around 180) 25 extra hp. So the weight to power ratio greatly expands and that is why you are running at different times. This should have been done with no passengers to get a full realization of how the weight to power ratio is actually dispersed through the two cars..... Man I started this as one sentence then it escalated from there. Please comments welcomed... no hate, or "your an idiot", you disagree and can show me proof, I'm more than willing to have a conversation. I'm all for learning, not for tearing people down.

What your dealing with is factory Fuel cut when you push the gas and then the brake but if you push the brake before you push the gas you your tricking the ecm try it you should be able to brake boost that way

Eric and Emily somers watch my videos on my channel🤣 Maybe youll learn something 👍🏽 Something to remember is that Ryan was tuned on a dyno jet which obviously reads higher numbers. Just because on the dyno he got 393 whp that doesn’t mean he’s really 393. Mustang dyno is much better for tuning purposes. If Ryan was tuned on a mustang dyno he would’ve been at 370ish. Which is much more realistic number then 393 on a dyno jet.
