While it may be hard for you to imagine people trying to be objective (and rare ones actually are), when it seems biased to you…is it because it goes against your paradigm? Have you done the introspection and thorough calling out of your own biases, which may skew how you see something….like this debate? Having studied the neuroscience of belief (including political belief, as they’re one of the strongest influences of belief, and identity, in most people)…I find that most people are far more biased, looking through cognitive distortions as filters, and susceptible to rhetoric and propaganda from their party/candidate. The people who aren’t tied to a political party, and who know how to examine their own thinking processes, observe and analyze where their beliefs/thoughts originate from….are way more likely to see clearly, see facts and reality more clearly. What do you do to check your biases and tendencies to defend the party you identify with. Do you understand that your limbic system controls much of it? That politics is hugely an emotional game? What do you do to regulate your emotions and develop emotional maturity…and sense of self, outside of a political “identity”? Those are some safeguards to bias, and other distortions to what we see/hear.

JD Vance speaks very well and has the gift of oratory, like Trump.

Such a refreshing experience. Been so long since two adults debated respectfully on stage. It's a shame that it's not these two who are running for president.

Tim is a habitual liar, therefore, not qualified for a presidential election.

You think Trump is 25 years old or?😅You’re lucky if he’s around for another decade

Great debate not gonna lie, the only people that ruined it were the moderators. Rude and biased.
@FallenTrend33Ай бұрын
So much for the msm rhetoric constantly saying JD is weird…this was actually a great debate minus the moderators trying to throw in their random nonsense fact checkers when they aren’t supposed to say anything other than questions.

Vance gets called "weird" because he's consistent. He's anti-war AND pro-family. He's critical of corporations AND supportive of unions. He supports Constitutional Rights like the First Amendment AND also law and order. Establishment Democrats and Republicans both hate that. So, they call him "weird".
@15jewjewАй бұрын
He's weird cause he allows racist to disrespect his wife, lied about his own town causing a whole panic and possible threat to security. He did it to himself.

@@space_acee Regarding hurricane disaster relief, we need to acknowledge that hurricanes have existed for hundreds or even thousands of years, so how can they be conflated with the issue of global warming? From the beginning, their framing was biased toward the Democratic Party!

This should be the easiest to figure out. Do you like all your taxes going to other countries and working 3 jobs to barely get by or did you like making money with one job and no inflation and be able to buy things. The proof is there: do you like the last 3 1/2 years or did you live better the four years before covid?
@FluxwuxАй бұрын
Inflation took off like 2 months in to Bidens presidency before he even implemented any major economic policies. And due to inflation taking several months or even a year to start having a noticeable effect - it was a remanence of Trump’s massive deficit (biggest in recorded history), stimulus checks and the Federal reserve printing an insane amount of dollars in 2020 mixed together with global supply chain issues due to Covid (which caused huge inflation in all countries worldwide). Only difference was that the US was the major western economy to bring inflation down the fastest - while others struggled for several additional months. I also don’t really understand how things will get cheaper and inflation be kept down by Trumps election promise to put a 20% tariff on imported goods. That will raise prices by 20% on a lot of things! Ranging from cars, electronics, lots of groceries, alcohol and rare earth minerals that are crucial components in our tech industry. Or how people would be able to not work 3 jobs when Trump doesn’t want to increase the minimum wage, is against labor unions and doesn’t have a plan to reduce medical bills that put many on the streets due to costs.
