J. Boadi That one will never be up there as one of the great quotes. Sounds too contrived. Check out the Bible book of Proverbs for original and truly inspirational quotes. You'll find that some of the most impressive ones "coined" by many are already found in the Scriptures. Just the wording is different.

tyra banks needs to take a breath slow down and characterize herself like the normal working middle-class-lower-class women that exist in the real world today. This interview seemed scripted, rehearsed, lacking information about brand names and I think she is actually going broke thats why she is desperate to do this interview. I invite you to re-watch the interview on mute and study the way she comes off, desperate and rushed.

This is the first time Ive seen an interview with her and was truly impressed. Finally, she doesn't feel the need to pretend to be just a regular girl and "relatable", she's just being real for once. Boobalopbop but shes from the hood and if u ever watched her show you would know she’s a goofy kind spirited woman. Not everyone is going to present your definition of real. @Boobalopbop
@Boobalopbop 5 жыл бұрын
@@nayiabrooks1244 OK so, she is from "the hood", yet 99% of the time she speaks like an intelligent woman. She doesn't put on a "hood" moniker. People that speak the way she imitates only know how to speak that way, so she is mocking them by putting on that accent when it suits her. I am from what most would call "the hood", but I speak the way I speak. If I start suddenly talking like.. I dunno.. Cardi B, that's me being fake. I can do that accent, if I wanted to, but I don't because that's not me. It's not Tyra, so I've always wished she wouldn't do that. It's mocking the girls she claims to have such an affinity, kinship and affection for.

For those saying "Tyra needs to get over it or stop using Naomi's name for clout" need to stop. She was asked a question and she answered. I also thought it was wrong for the interviewer to bring this up given it's recreating all this unnecessary drama. This feud or whatever you want to call it was all due to the media at the time who compared them both, they feed off the idea that there couldn't be 2 successful women of colour in the same field. I have so much respect for both women and the hardships they've both had to endure through out there careers but here they are, continuing to inspire and influence! I don't know why some of y'all continue to feed off on this negativity, there's no need.

It's a matter of personalities. Tyra has always been extroverted Sagittarius (fire sign), while Beyonce has always been a shy and private Virgo (earth sign) when it comes to interviews. That's why one had a talk show, cuz she can talk all day, and the other had a stage cuz she can sing and dance all day.

terrible interview. she did not reveal brand names because she is focusing on her own self made cubicle. I think she is desperate to talk with speed not even breathing at times because she is on the verge of loosing everything to bankrupt. I think she mentioned "skims" not wal-mart or high end corporates that are working for the lower to middle class economy. Tyra banks is not thinking of the big picture, she only thinks about her first world priorities.

People take it for granted that top models have to be eloquent speakers. Tyra certainly personifies this. Naomi personifies this. Part of the reason the standard for top models appears to have gone down is many models now lack articulation and let texts through social media do most of the talking for them.
