Thanks, got it in 2024 I had to put power restrictor to 87 and ballast to 50 to get it under 600. 2nd race was iffy I came 2nd because I came off the track a couple of times but I won the 1st and 3rd race which gave me the championship

Thank you for the set up this worked and I was first place in all three races. It might not have a lot of horsepower but it’s very light and agile, which is perfect for a race like this. Thank you for the set up. It was an expensive set up, but I’m glad I got this championship out-of-the-way.

Thanks for this, although I can't beat R.Kokubun in the RE Amemiya RX-7 at Suzuka. I can get to about 2 seconds behind him by the end of the race. On the first 3 laps I catch the lead by at least 10 seconds per lap, but once Kokubun gets the lead, he starts flying 'round the track.

Try to not use your brakes whatsoever run a good stable speed during corners to keep traction but unnecessary braking was my downfall. Also see his other video on the Gt500 Supra(castrol toms) I used that car and his setup, in the end I still had to retry the races a few times but I was able to pull a win.

Good guide thx man, i did it with the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final 15 - pretty much the same setup - Output ECU to 85 - was super easy all 3 races i finished first place.

This is amazing! It works really good for the 700pp too. I won every race by at least 40 seconds and all I did was replace the heavy wet tires for racing soft.

due to rebalancing I wouldn't recommend this build anymore, it was great but simply can't get enough horsepower to keep up in the tournament anymore. I would personally recommend the 2020 supra RZ, as you can cram about 502 horsepower into it while still under the PP limit if you limit it's power output to like 99. Great video btw.

I struggle on the Suzuka truck because of the curves and hairpin and I lose speed in good exit speed

I wonder if they nerfed this in an update, I can win the first race, but I can’t do better than 2nd on the next two. I am playing with a racing wheel but that shouldn’t make that much of a difference does it?

This! Patch update 1.13 seems to have changed a lot of PP ratings too. I do play on "hard" difficulty, but still, I can finish RBR 1st but just cannot catch a break in Suzuka EDIT: Just tried using "Normal" difficulty with the same car & setup as I have tried in "Hard". That reduces the AI speed by about 2s a lap, makes it far too easy. So I think they may have tweaked "Hard" difficulty - or the PP tweaks they made have a big impact!

@@RoystonDooley I've been wondering baout this. I'm on hard and I cannot catch 1st place on the last 2 tracks. I've been trying every car and every setting. The rainy track is no problem because AI is cautious in the rain. No one seems to share in these videos if they are on hard or not 🤷‍♂️

Nice tutorial man👍🏻👍🏻 Idk if it's from the update (1.35), but with everything that is on your setup, I get pp 609.92. Only when I add 100kgs the pp decreases to 599.99 but that's a lot of weight. Do you have any additional tips? Thank you! Edit: Changed tyres : Sports-Medium TCS 1 and removed the 100 kgs.. got 1st place on the 3 races

Thx, but i have to admit its not doing anything special for me. I was running a mini, quite tuned up. Then the little Alfa 4c tuned down.. and I can win with either. But ive got to actually try... poured money into several cars before i came looking for advice.. can anyone tell me what sort of av. Lap time your getting with this build?

I think it handles very well because you can push it so hard through turns on fresh tires. It definitely loses out to most cars through the turns though. That being said I still cant win the race:(

Thanks for mentioning this, I forgot that there was a difficulty setting on this game and I chose the hardest difficulty when I first started and forgot about it. I put it on easy specifically for these races because it’s just bullshit.

@ James nuttie make sure you have all the racing parts installed and have weight reduction 3 you will be over 600pp you have to lower computer and power reduction and also after you install part press triangle you remesure setting if you copy and paste you will have same or close to it I had to lower computer down to 70 power reduction down to 85

Well I just wasted 350,000 on this advice you don’t show how you put the parts on, iv sat and had to rewind this so many times over an hour m, go back and forth to the circuits and tune shops cause I kept missing things and now iv wasted so much, iv even had to get ballast which still isn’t working, I am now going to have to save up again racing in the same races
