There is a point that needs to be made about AK, I think everyday people are telling him "Kendrick is saving rap" while industry people are telling him that "the current incarnation, as developed by the corps who primarily control it, will not be reconfigured". His response, therefore, is to the reality the ordinary people are having to KDots music which he understands will ultimately supersede the industries mentality. Once it becomes clear that the people want this change in Hip Hop, then the industry will move, which will result in Drake becoming less and less viable as an industry commodity.
