I watched it recently for the first time, having huge expectations, and I was horribly disappointed. A lot of characters felt miscast, the pacing of the movie was too slow for half of the time, the dialogues taking place had little weight or depth, and just generally, the humor felt like was tailor-made for 13 yr olds. I kept waiting for the big funny thing to happen, and it never did. When JoBlo hinted that there hadn't been a comedy movie as good as Tropic Thunder since it released, it really took me by surprise. There's tons of movies that are funnier than this movie. Heck, even some non-comedy movies have been funnier than this one. Just my two cents..
