WTF Happened to UMA THURMAN?

Uma Thurman is up there with the most iconic screen personalities of all time. When many movies of this era are dead and gone, KILL BILL VOLUME 1 & 2 will still be considered classics, and that's barely scratching the surface of this incredible performer's career. It's funny how I keep avoiding Kill Bill thinking it is a fight movie. I don't like action movies. But I watched this in 2020 June and my god. I liked volume 1 very much but I liked Vol 2 even more. For me best Tarantino movie.

Yes. She could’ve pursued all legal remedies after the car accident but in Hollyweird it’s seen as a strike against a director for unsafe practices that can affect future decisions. She correctly decided that she could make more money in her career by not going public just as she did w/Weinstein. She’s 50 years old so it’s not like she’s supposed to be in the public eye daily. Seems that she’s done just fine for herself.

I feel like Tarantino don't get enough credit for all of his contributions. Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction put the whole indie cinema into a new track and influenced a upcoming generation of filmmakers. and his movies saved or launch a lot of actors careers. the man did way LOT of things that I don't think without him Hollywood or cinema as a whole, would be the same today

Kill Bill for me is the best movie of all time. It's just flawless. And look at each picture you see in this video. Each shot looks sooo wonderfully crafted. The lightnight, the angles, the colors. Flawless :)

It's aged so well. It doesn't really even look like it came out it in 2003. It looks newer than that. The choreography in the fight scenes is amazing, and of course Uma's performance was awesome and Oscar worthy imo, I actually think she should've won an Oscar for it, the fact that she didn't even get nominated for best actress is a tragedy.

I was one of the initially disappointed by Gattaca when it was released. My expectation was that it was building up to the trip to Titan and we, the audience, were to travel to that destination with Vincent and see the wonders that he would see. On rewatching years later, I realised that it wasn't about that moment at all, just about getting to the take-off, so I began to appreciate it for what it was: the struggles and triumphs of a man against the system that holds him back. Great film!

That is true, she most certainly, absolutely would have. I never thought of it to be fair, but she's the only actress that could play Ripley and be/feel believable. I love Uma, she was my official "Hollywood crush" in the 90s, and outside of the real world I think she still is, so I obviously wish her all the best, and considering how many huge achievements she had, she can easily retire with a bank safe full of pride! 👍🏻🖤🏴‍☠️

Great movie! I noticed it wasn't mentioned as well and was disappointed because Jennifer 8 was a good creepy crime/thriller that seemed to fly under the radar in the 90s and was quickly forgotten. I was only 10 when I first saw it, stuck with me for years and finally rewatched it again a few years ago as an adult to see if it was as good as I remembered and it was. Even knowing how it ends I was still on the edge of my seat throughout it. Also John Malkovich (even though his role in it is more like a cameo) gives a great performance. Jennifer 8 deserves more recognition in my opinion.

I worked at a theater showing "Henry And June" back when it came out. The NC-17 was given to the film because of a scene with a drawing of a woman and an octopus in a sexual position. Uma was so awesome in it.

I'm obsessed with Uma Thurman. Loved her in kill Bill volume 1 and kill Bill vol 2. She also has a very unique sexy appeal about her that is undescribable. Not to mention of course she's a great actress. I was hoping there was going to be a kill Bill volume 3 as it was in the works, but who knows. I'm sure she still has the moves.
