Aventador AC systems cool the fuel tank. When the ambient temp sensor is over 95, the ac will force on to cool down the fuel tank, it’s a way to prevent over pressurizing. So the AC switching on after Damon hits it off is normal.

It had a problem with the transmission and was fixed, the new problem is the alternator, capacitor and likely needs a new battery. The SVJ isn't the only one with electrical problems this year (from what I've seen on Instagram), the Lamborghini and Ferrari techs spend 24 hours straight at the start line fixing cars. You should really consider watching the videos

I doubt it would've shown any problems even if they gave it 3 months drive time, considering the electrical for the SVJ isn't an isolated episode this year. Allegedly multiple cars are showing similar issues with alternators and batteries, if I had to put my money anyway then I would bet it was during shipping that it either got too humid or they didn't unhook the battery.

11:13 Dave is correct! Most would assume if you rev the engine, it will spin the alternator faster. And yes, that is true…but you’re also making the car work and ask for more power! So although the statement (rev engine and it makes alternator go faster, = more output) is true, revving the engine also uses quite a bit! If ur having charging issues, and your gauge says it’s only like 12.5v (+-), then you’re not even putting enough voltage back into ur system! Cars run 12v…alternator should be pushing like 13.5-14v! It specifically pushes a little extra to get ahead! So if your alternator says 12v, although most would think that’s ok, it’s actually not!
