Literally my thoughts it doesn’t make you better for unplugging. I get sensory overload from the noises on a plane so I listen to music watch videos/movies and read (with music or noise canceling) to not freak out “rawdoging” would just be the opposite of what i need.

I usually get nervous before I fly so I don’t sleep very well the night before. By the time I’m on the plane I’ve calmed down and I can sleep for an hour or two. I’m just upset that TYT gave this eight minutes of airtime 😂 Tons of other newsworthy stories out there.

Are people really not introspective? I'm actually shocked to hear this. How is that possible? Doesn't matter what I do, my mind is always analyzing questioning wondering about eveything. Even as I'm typing this, which is why my spelling is often terrible. Maybe different brains are wired differently. As I was typing above this is what my mind was thinking about in the background: I once asked a marathon runner what does he think about as he runs hours on end. And he looked at me confused. "Nothing" Then I was confused, because the main reason I can't run, is that time slows down, my thoughts speed up, and all I t think about is "how much long" and "god this is miserable, why am I doing this", etc. It's not my physical body that stops me from running but my thoughts, but apparently, long distance runners never think. It's incomprehensible to me how that's possible.

What he is doing makes sense for him I suppose, since he seems like the kind of person who leads such a busy life that he seldom gets other moments to meditate, self reflect, and just let his mind relax. If I had the kind of life where even away from work, I was constantly having to deal with work (making and receiving calls, texts, emails, etc, and also was a very frequent flyer, I might do the same thing. As a single person living alone, and having a job that though frequently stressful, and occasionally having long hours, does not follow me home, I have plenty of time for my own thoughts.

I used to poop with no phone. Had to use my imagination to pass the time. Popular science magazines helped a bit in the late 90s. Thinking back magazines and books used to be normal to use while passing poop. We had subscriptions to news letter and magazines.
