A deeply disturbing Story, but one few know about sadly... Which they should - While it is decades ago, Police can still struggle even now when faced with a clever opponant to find a criminal and bring them to justice... And Christie WAS CLEVER - He convinced the Fiancee of one of his victims that he would HANG for his Girlfirends death... And he did! The wrong man was hung and psthumously pardoned AFTER MORE BODIES were found! Of the Michael Bay films that I've seen (almost all of them...), *Pain and Gain* is the only one, in my opinion, that's actually kind of truly great. Whenever I get into a discussion with someone about "underrated films", I always cite this one. My read on Bay as a filmmaker is kind of a minority opinion, but I feel that he is actually an incredibly gifted director of comedy. He clearly enjoys allowing his cast to improvise, and this results in what I feel are many very very funny moments in nearly all his films ("Pearl Harbor", a distinctly unfunny film, being the exception, and the only one of his films that I outright dislike, and that's including all the various absurd- and in my opinion hilariously funny- "Transformers" films.) If we're just talking about raw cinematic skill, I sincerely feel he's actually better at directing comedy than action. Again though, I understand mine is a minority opinion.

Also I know this wasn't mentioned in the movie, however the lawyers for The Sun Gym gang never once asked questions to the witnesses on the stand, or objected to any of the questions by the prosecution. Also Lugo is or was afraid of Doorbal in real life. He also claims Doorbal is a true psychopath/sociopathy. Also Lugo and Doorbal were suppose to get new trials to determine if they get the death penalty.
