Wii was unreal, but very fun to play. Also the car set up and engineer felt very real. I would build a set up and engineer gave me feedback that I exagerated on suspension. I went to the pit, fix it and was a sec faster. It felt nice to play and easy to master.

When I was a kid, in about 2000 my parents gave me a gameboy colour and the only game that came with it was an F1 game. I was about 3 years old and knew absolutely nothing about F1 racing. I used to go into the pits every lap because I thought it was a short cut, and then got very frustrated that i never won a race :'D

You haven't played F1 2011 for the 3DS then. That's a hidden gem of bad F1 games. You could even use the DRS and kers permanently and since there was no physics, you had no understeer nor penalties for corner cutting. You can literally do a 0.50.000 lap in Spa (It was made by the same studio as F1 2007. Let that sink in)

Real Racing 3. Sure, its primary focus is on street cars with a few Ferrari F1 cars thrown in, and the driving itself isn't horrible, but the pains and lengths you have to go through to actually get a 1995 car and keep it running for more than 2 consecutive races is heinous.

I agree, if you don't wanna pay the micro-transactions then there is so much grinding in that game; it's ridiculous, even the special events you have to upgrade constantly to actually get anywhere. I actually really enjoy the driving for a mobile game, but if you want to get anywhere you literally have to do so much repetition. And if you have an older phone like an iPhone 4 then you may as well not bother; infact I think it's probably way better on an iPad than a phone where some challenges are just nigh on impossible.

I don't know if you know Johnny Herbert's GP 1998. The physics were not bad, but the difficulty was stupid. The AI defended so aggressively that they would collide with you from the side. Also, while there was an option to drive with fuel and have to refuel, the AI didn't need to refuel at all.

I played f1 2012 and in the totorial one of the rear tires gets punctured on purpose then it tells u to rewind and the rewind doesn't even work or exist!(Unless the disc is scratched but it is always in the case)

The worst F1 game I've had was F1 2014. It was clearly rushed on so many levels. The then new power units sounded nothing like they did in real life (even reving much too high), they dispensed with the very popular classic cars feature from F1 2013, but the worst thing is the online experience. The lag was so biblically terrible that nobody you were racing against were experiencing the same action as yourself. It was impossible to even race with your opponents as they would invisible to yourself and accidentally hit them off, when from your own perspective, they were thin air, with their laggy car driving into the distance, you never knew whether you were actually passing them or not

I'd like to say Chequered Flag on the ZX Spectrum. But in truth that's being a little harsh. In absolute terms it has garish graphics, terrible sound, awkward controls, and you can't actually race anyone you can only time trial. But for its time and for the hardware it was very advanced, and the driving experience is actually better than a lot of games that came after it.
