A couple years before she passed, my Mom showed this to me on her Facebook when this video came out. Holds a special place in my heart! Glad to see people enjoying it.

2CELLOS were a Croatian cellist duo, consisting of classically trained cellists Luka Šulić and Stjepan Hauser. Signed to Sony Masterworks since 2011. They met at a master class in Pula while still in their teens and they both studied in the UK (Šulić at London's Royal Academy of Music and Hauser at Trinity College of Music.

I don't think that people really realize HOW AMAZING you have to be at playing the instrument (in a classical way) to be able to do what they do. They are not even looking at where their fingers go, they are so good they can play literally sleeping. 👍🇭🇷
@TheSpeakEasyLounge2 жыл бұрын
Right? They are truly talented and you can tell how hard they have worked to become this great! Thanks Marina!

OK these guys are starting to grow on me. Being an AC/DC fan I didn`t know what to expect but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. This rock song would be so hard to do but the boys nailed it. 😎🎸

one of the first videos they did is with steve vai.. doing highway to hell.. mention the part at the end when he lays down on the stage and does circles.. that's part of the original video by ac dc and have you done mozart heros yet? if not start with mozart metallica and look for the special elements at the end of the vid if you miss it it's mentioned in the credits.. look up ally piper on bagpipes doing freebird and her friend mia asiano i think on electric violin.. she does some van halen.. i notice her violin has what looks like a guitar neck and frets on it.. i asked but never got a response.. i don't know how they got together but sadly i've noticed the one on the left who is referred to as hauser seems to do alot of solo and collaborations .. the one on the right i have not seen do anything other ..i fear they don't work together so much anymore i hope i'm wrong ..

I will check into it. I did "Whole Lotta love", but it got blocked. This was blocked initially, it may get blocked again, depending on whether they approve or deny my dispute. It's sad.

Even if I didn't really like the post-Bon Scott AC/DC initially, this one song by 2Cellos really turned me around, and made me actually appreciate their later output. Heh, and 2Chellos actually wielding bloody chello's, at that... There's no way not to love it, especially that video!

Nice reaction! Good wine?
@TheSpeakEasyLounge2 жыл бұрын
Yes- actually it was a nice Cab. I have learned that a good wine doesn't have to be expensive. If you know what you like, (I don't like "Oaky", "Spicy", Peppery, reds- Low tannins) I try different ones until I find one I like, then I move on to try something else. But I have to admit, I don't drink much anymore, it seems to give me a bit of a headache now...Aging might be good for wine, not so good for me! lol.

Hi Jennifer, as I said have before I love your reactions. May I suggest you look up Andre Rieu and the Johann Strauss Orchestra, they play classical Waltzes plus modern music and are fun to watch and listen too. Keep going.

That sounds like a lot of fun! Don't suppose you would share a link or two? Maybe come by next Monday for my Live stream and request a few of their songs? You missed tonights live, but I go live every Monday at 6pm EST! Hope to see you there!
