All they did was talk about the girls first. Then they talked about the courage and efforts of the family. They talked about the community. Only then did LE talk about themselves. @chilo8187 The whole beginning of the press conference was about the girls and their families. Mike Patty even thanked LE and the community for not giving up. I think you missed the beginning. The prosecutor did do a good job. The travesty of the early blunders are not lost. The ISP and FBI have to upgrade their databases and update their algorithms. Definitely a review of the systemic errors needs to take place

I'm sorry intelligent, caring people everywhere have been led to believe this. There was DNA all over that crime scene, incuding of a sexual nature, and none of it belongs to R.A. I do not understand how a jury did this. I would be incredibly angry right now finding out about what was excluded if I were them. False Confessions happen with significant frequency, especially when family members are threatened. The children are still in danger.
