My uncle also had the same washer when I went to my uncle's house to have the best time on Lunar New Year about nearly 8 months ago. He has just bought this Whirlpool washing machine to replace the old Sanyo washing machine which was made in 2003. Because Whirlpool/Maytag are the extremely rare brand in Vietnam, he had to bought at special appliances store as only a few importers would import those including this one too, despite not all models to be imported to Vietnam. At the first day he said to me that this one was the best machine he has just used in the first day, and not to forget his family does 2 - 4 load per day and always large load. I don't know will his machine still be ok, because I cannot go to his house anymore after Covid-19 was coming here. Imagine whether his new machine like this should be lasting longer like his 2003 Sanyo machine, or I bet it will give up and not go to wash again 😂

This washer ( 4955HW) is VERY loud in the wash cycle! My daughter just bought this and when using it for the first time, we were both convinced something was wrong with it. The sound is very similar to the sound on the video, so I guess that’s normal for this model, however, I’ve never ever heard a washer make such a weird sound.

At least the washing performance can be anything better when using heavy duty cycle for washing those 4 jeans which look so bulky at most. However I think if you want to make more videos of this one, you should test the bulky items like a big blanket or even two blankets, or some sheets, with the same cycle, or normal cycle (recommended), and using auto sensing water level, to see will the new Whirlpool washing machine have more improvement on the washing performance and water usage, even if this one takes shorter time than the previous model or other models. Anyway thanks for a good video

That Washer in this Video though *is* the WTW4955HW Whirlpool Washer. The small Mistake that he made was when he put in “WTW4950HW” in the Video Title & Description instead of “WTW4955HW”, as there’s a difference between the WTW4950HW & WTW4955HW Whirlpool Washers. The WTW4950HW has the Drum with a Wash Plate, while the WTW4955HW has the same Drum, but with an Agitator added to the Wash Plate.

Perhaps a vinegar, baking soda, peroxide, bleach wash with soak done outside would eliminate the blue on the agitator.

Hey, sorry that I missed the Live Stream, as I was especially sleeping, but however, there’s 1 thing that I’d like to point out to you that in the Video Title & Description, you have the Model Number “WTW4950HW” in there & that’s not the correct Model, as the WTW4950HW Whirlpool Washer has the Drum without the Agitator, but with a Wash Plate instead. The Whirlpool Washer in this Video is the Model WTW4955HW, as it has the Drum with an Agitator, as shown, while the WTW4950HW Whirlpool Washer has, again, the Wash Plate instead of an Agitator.

I hate to be negative, but I don’t understand if this is “deep water” why does it fill only half way? Why do the wash plate portable washers have much more aggressive agitation than the full size washers? Basically this is a wash plate washer with an extension tube stuck on the plate. 👎🏻

SAME HERE -- my machine only fills a VERY small amount of water (the clothes are not even covered with water -- its ridiculous). That's the biggest problem I have with it. How can it possibly wash the clothes with just a tiny amount of water??

My washer only adds about a quarter fill of water no matter which setting I put it on. It's annoying, It doesn't add enough water to medium to heavier loads. Not sure if it's the washer or i'm doing something wrong.
