Five stances Wu Bu Quan Tutorial in detail by Master Yan Xin.
Wu Bu Quan Form a introduction the Five Most important stances of Chinese Martial Arts, they are
Gong Bu弓步, Bow stance.
Ma Bu马步, Horse stance.
Xie Bu斜步, Twist stance, cross stance or rest stance.
Pu Bu扑步, Crouch stanceor flat stance.
Xu Bu虚, Cat stancce or empty stance.
And three hands posture which are
Zhang 掌, Palm.
Quan 拳, Fist.
Gou Shou 勾手, Hook.
This short routine form aim for improve stances, balance control and whole body coordination, that make your foundation strong.
when you practice slow motion that improve the strength of your stances and stamina.
when you practice slightly quick motion that improve your coordination between your stances and your arms.
These fundamental movement like A,B,C,D of English.
Advice for beginners or who like to improve their foundation to practice. if you need more information please leave common or contact us.
五步拳是学习武术入门的基本拳术组合。 它 包含了武术中最基本的弓、马、仆、虚、歇五种步型和拳、掌、勾三种手型。 五步拳是由弓步、马步、仆步、虚步、歇步五种步型结合及上步,退步步法和搂手、冲拳、­按掌、 穿掌、挑掌、架打、盖打等手法进行的组合练习,简称五步拳。通过五步拳的练习可以增进­身体的协调能力,掌握动作与动作之间的衔接要领,提高动作质量。为进一步学习武术打下­基础。
五步拳大约上世纪80年代出现,原为查拳的基本功,据悉是张文广宗师所编。最早不叫五­步拳,而叫“五种步型的动作组合”,后来简称“五步拳”,为按照现代长拳风格而编写的­动作组合。

Ah! I have been putting like all of my weight on my back foot on my Pu Bu stance! Thanks for setting me straight! Also, that's one of the best Cat Stance explanations I've seen. Seems to be much confusion on how to correctly align the front leg, knee, and foot. Thank you, Master!!

Your slight corrections to the angles of my feet when i was preforming xu bu allowed me to sit fully with no more knee pain thank you 🙏

Thank you sifu for a clear explanation. I have trouble with this position as i have a weak right knee and my right heel doesnt stretch forward a lot for me to have my foot flat on the ground :/ i hope with more training i can master this step.

yes definately will getting better doing more training, for this particular movement you could use a chair to help your balance when you stretching.

This is the best thing ever. But, i keep having some trouble on some parts. (The problem is that i sometimes put a little too much weight on my legs and i fall). But, great explanations tho. Thanks, master!!

Hello Master Yan Xin! Thank you for the excellent guide! I have a question, as it is difficult for me to perform Pu Bu. Due to ankle injury, I am unable bend it that way and I have to keep my heel off the ground. Is this ok?

Great videos for learning. Can you tell me how long i should practice these stances everyday? I've always wished to learn Kung Fu, but growing up my family refused and made me play basketball. Now i'm a father of three so i still can't learn it. So thank you for these videos. So I can at least dabble in it. Have a great day

:) i understand that. for the stances training i would suggest you to do to 30 secound on the stances at this stage till when you feel easy and easy then add bit more time on.

what about back stance of karate, don't you have in Kungfu !. All shotokan karate katas are in back stance .

don't really sure you were mention the back stance but maybe its different calling and also is this video you watched is only foundamentle stances so there have more stances in the future.

@@KUNGFULIFE-shifuyanxin - Master if you watch " Heian Nidan" kata of JKA shotokan karate then you will see back stance , in japanese it is called kokutsu Dachi . I believe your style of kungfu has it along with Cat stance , thank you , you are a wonderful person .👍
