That's not true. Everyone is getting carried away with the Def Jams party tension in NYC. That wasn't the original or real fight. It started in Las Vegas. Ghostface had got jumped by some Mo Thugs members while on stage. That was the ONLY Bone and Wu Tang fight. After the fight, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony was eventually set up at a party in NYC where they said it was beef between them and a variety of people there. However, the Def Jam was not the actual clash.

This is my just guessing: but perhaps they're each talking about different events? The one we have all heard BTNH speak on was in the club, where they said a champagne bottle was thrown (by Ghost, they thought). BIG was there, but I never heard anyone from BTNH say anything about BIG getting hit. I thought I heard BTNH say BIG helped get BTNH out of the club because it was about to go down. Was this in NY, by the way? Maybe the one Deck is speaking on was a different occurrence? BTNH also said Method Man met them outside or something like that and was determined to make sure BTNH/WU clash didn't go down. I am pretty sure Krayzie said BTNH was already close to Meth. Also, I'm guessing that the dude Deck is talking about was a Mo Thugs member?! I thought I recall BTNH saying someone in their entourage kinda was the one going at it with Ghost. Unless it was Wi$h, but Wi$h is for sure not a short dude. IDK for sure. Me, I love BTNH. I love Wu. Glad nothing more happened. Again, I could be way off. Just trying to piece together the different versions/stories. Love both groups.

I've been a fan of Bone for over a decade now, and them Cleveland Boys would absolutely go bar for bar with Wu Tang. Don't believe me? Go listen to their music, take in their style, analyze their bars, their rhymes, and even the very beats they rap on.
