Thank you for testing city cars. I worry about safety in smaller cars, but they seem to have acceptable protections in tests that damage every type of car indiscriminately. Love the videos and translations, thank you for your hard work!

this is not acceptable performance at all. there are many other better alternatives

Its already test in indonesia with "real" women inside the car. Car crashed into a trailer in the highway and she's safe without any serious injury. But the car is destroyed and the battery is safe. U can seeing the news in indonesian news or youtube.

in indonesia this thing is priced the same as the chery omoda 5 with 7 aitbags and 5* rating from euro ncap
@Tama-lh1nhАй бұрын
@pot43 tax and aftersales. Wuling have many aftersales like dealership and services in indonesia. Thats why they more expensive rather than other china's brand in indonesia. If I could choose, I would choose Chery over Wuling before chery have many dealership.

@Tama-lh1nh i guess, but lcgc's like agya brio etc doesnt bend that badly in asean ncap test. theyre not EV but sacrificng safety for a weak car with weak battery aint great

True. Wuling overpriced their products...@@pot43

I really love this crash test organization! I also suggest doing Driver Assistant systems test

Excluding the rear end crash, the structure overall seems strong and quite impressive for a car its size. If it had more airbags it’d probably be a lot higher score
@zid-zedАй бұрын
I think the main problem stems from the seatbelt lacking any pre-tensioning or any passive safety, hence the lower score, additionally the dummies suffered massive chest injuries and legs, and one of them suffered lethal amounts of slack to the head that may cause fatality. So in my opinion, the rating is pretty much deserved.

This test should be standard as well as small offset as NIHS does... Would love to see all big Chinese EVs like xpeng Nio Zeekr Volvo Geeley cars in general... ❤

It seems that lately more importance is given to ecology than to safety, seeing that it only has 1 airbag, that is, an electric one that does not pollute but kills you in an accident

Why do you keep testing unknown cars??
@therealeleadi7000Ай бұрын
They’re a chinese crash test organization. Euro ncap also test some chinese cars
@martinloney6322Ай бұрын
Hardly unknown. You just don’t know them.
@chjin1796Ай бұрын
It's just that you don't know it. Most of the tests are hot-selling models in the Chinese market.

Very unsafe vechile.
@jiaowoaguoАй бұрын
8000 dollars , what you expect? cheaper than a moto bike.
@chjin1796Ай бұрын
Expensive cars may not necessarily be safe, but cheap cars must not be unsafe. Building a safe car requires better materials, which will inevitably lead to higher costs. Some people say these new cars are not as safe as the cheaper cars of the past. That's because although cars are becoming more and more technologically advanced, the price of metal materials is also rising. You can't expect a car company to sell cars at a loss. Improving laws and regulations can indeed prevent this type of car from being launched on the market, but it also deprives some people of the right to own a new car.
@chjin1796Ай бұрын
One might ask why these people don’t buy a used car. Buying a used car carries certain risks for the general public. Used cars cannot provide some novel technological configurations. Although second-hand cars are cheaper to buy, the cost of use will be higher than that of new cars. Used cars are more likely to break down, and most of their warranty period has expired.

I think this is the reason Hyundai will remain more and more competitive for years to come, at least outside of China. They’re only car manufacturer that has its own integrated steel works
@chjin1796Ай бұрын
@GlitterGuru If you have your own steel mill, you won't be affected by price increases? The entire supply chain, from the labor costs of collecting ore raw materials to finished steel products, has risen.
@GlitterGuruАй бұрын
@@chjin1796 yes but only your raw material. They own everything else in the supply chain.
