there are colored cylinders with a flourescent bulb inside. A small motor turns the cylinders in opposite directions slowly. Thanks for your interest.

@jukeboxeddie I have a 1015 omt, the repro model that plays 100 cds, and the turrets turn outwards , its made by wurtlizer in germany .

What is the tracking weight of the lollipop tone arm? Is it light enough to play the 78 rpm vinyl repros of the 80s?

Nice machine but you seem to have the cylinders rotating in the wrong direction. They are supposed to move from right to left towards the center. Looks like your motors are mounted backwards. Reverse them and that should fix it. Also, the colors should turn and match both sides at the same time. I've owned my 1015 for 37 years so I speak from experience... Nice machine.
